Dr Tan Heng Hao is an experienced MOH accredited IVF Specialist, Senior Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, Advanced Minimally Invasive Surgeon.
Prior to his private practice, Dr Tan Heng Hao spent more than two decades in public service. He served as the Head of Department in Reproductive Medicine, and was a Senior Consultant in the KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital’s (KKH) Endometriosis Centre and Maternity Services. While at KKH, he was also appointed the Director of the In-Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) Centre & National Sperm Bank. He currently sits on the MOH Assisted Reproduction Service Advisory Committee in Singapore

In 2020, Dr Tan Heng Hao achieved a successful pregnancy and delivery in a 47-year old woman with Asherman’s syndrome through her own eggs in an IVF cycle. He believes that this is the oldest local IVF livebirth after the lifting of the 45 year age limit in women undergoing in-vitro fertilisation (IVF) treatment locally.
